Question on a road rage law..

OK so this broad today flips me off and i followed her to the stop light and got out of my car. I stayed calm, and i went up to her and said dont ever do that again and i waved my finger then i got back into my car.

she got my plate number so now im worried that cops gonna be knockin on my door for some stupid shit

i know its road rage, but is it that serious with the law (or does it vary state to state)

did you wave your middle finger at her, or was it the "shame shame" finger wave?

was there anyone else around? if not its your word against hers.

I didn't know there was a law like that in affect. You have to assume if that girl was serious about charging you with anything, she would have called the cops on her cell, or at the very least when she got home. Then the police would have been there immeadietley(sp?). I say if the cops aren't there by Wed, you are in the clear. "Threats" are taken seriously in this day and age..... live and learn I guess, next time something like this happens just brush it off.

i was directly behind her, following her. light had just turned red, so i knew i had the time. when i got back in my car i had about 5 more seconds until it turned green.

If someone ever gets out of their car and starts walking upto mine in a situation like that, the gun is already in my hand. Dont let people flipping you off get to you.

Just take it as a lesson learned and leave it be. Hopefully thats all that comes of this.

If someone came walking up to my vehicle at a red light like that, my adrenaline would immediately kick in..And I would be reaching for the nig*er beater..

I agree, that was a really bad idea. Imagine being a woman and some guy you pissed off follows you then walks up to your car at a stoplight. It's a really good thing she didn't have a ccw.
