Question on 2 ohm DVC and 4 ohm DVC

Would there be any difference if the 2 ohm DVC spl rating for S12L7s is 88.1 and dual 4ohm is 83db? Would there be an audible difference? Just caught my eye and made me interested.

Those ratings are probably using the old 2.8v input method, rather than 1w-1m, the dual 2 will draw more current with a set 2.8v input, hence use more power, which results in a higher spl, it's got nothing to do with efficiency.

With the same input power they will sound the same.

I chose DVC based on what amp you have. 2-ohm if you have an amp that likes low ohms, 4-ohm if higher. Although not 100% on-topic, just some free advice.
