Question from a beginner

I work at an electronics store, and we get a huge discount on all Kicker equipment. I am going to purchase 2 12" Kicker l7's, with a kicker kx 1600.1 amp. Should I get the 2ohm or 4ohm l7 12"s? Thanks in advance for any help

Get the D4's and wire them pups to a 1 ohm load. You're gonna need some 1/0 cable from the battery to the amp and i recommend doing a big 3 upgrade to your electrical.

The KX line does full power @ 2 ohm and isn't 1 ohm stable.

OP you will want the Dual 2 ohm subs. Wire each sub in parallel to bring it down to 1 ohm then series to bring it back up to 2
