What year/model integra? I drive a '99 hatch integra and I can squeeze 16" height. All my enclosures are 15" tall but I have turned one so that it was 16.5" and it fit with room for the sub to not hit the top.

This enclosure has a height of 15"

You can see that I have a little over an inch of clearance for the most part except for where the wiper motor is.

At 17", the enclosure WILL hit the wiper motor plastic thing but it will still fit under the rest of the hatch.

I hope we're talking about the same vehicle.

I think the older trunk is a little bit smaller.
