I have a Lanzar right now, and im going to put the **** thing in my chicks car with the subs to go with it. In addition , im now looking for a GOOD 1 ohm stable amp that runs reliably.

Whats the best 1 ohm stable amp for the price ((and can run at 1ohm without issues))

ANYONE GOT An older ORION for sale ?? at a good deal !

I want to know if buying an older refurb orion 225 HCCA would be ok, for one refurbished usually means = new board ! which then = new amp old chasis .

WHats the opinions on that particular orion ???

so u need 1200watts @ 1 ohm? better amps than audiobahn... kicker kx1200.1 or pg tantrum 1200.1 theres tons more that are better too.

Refurbished usually means that Fets were replaced, not that it recieved an entire new board. That would cost them entirely too much to do often. There are a lot of amps to put out 1200 or so at 1ohm, probably 50 of them. If you do a search I'm sure you'll come up with an answer to your question. DEI, Viper, JBL, HiFonics, Planet Audio, Orion etc etc etc

Possible you could be mistaken on how the subs are wired? Cause I also highly doubt that it can run .5ohm daily.....1ohm is a stretch and has a high possibility of cookin' the amp.

yup pretty sure those amps are 2 ohm stable(rf1000)....runnin it at anything lower then that would cook it quickly...if they could go down that far i think they would sell alot more of them

No, they are 1 ohm stable, all of the 1 channel power series are stable at 1 ohm

the Arc Audio KAR 900.1d is a good choice as well. it is very reasonably priced. i have a Diamond D5 1200.1 running at 1 ohm and it is awesome but i dont know if it is the best for the money, never researched it much.

No, they are 1 ohm stable, all of the 1 channel power series are stable at 1 ohm

The newer ones, not the older ones (which 1000bd is a model number from a few years ago, which are only 2ohm stable.)
