Question For Sound Quality Guys!

I'm wondering what your sq preferences are as to the kind of attack your entire system gives you? The reason for the question is, I made a adjustment in the t/a and delayed my front stage setting from 2.65 to 2.85. I didn't think it would make as much difference as it did. It now gives me a more balanced attack rather than heavier on the front stage. I now need to, or can turn up the volume more than I normally would. I understand it is a personal prefrence. I was just wondering how you sq guys have your systems set. A more balanced attack or heavier on the front stage were your highs, at times, can be just a tad much?
