What does an evil pagan do to appease the gods? They leave food, wine, etc. in a shrine, that is often left to decay or be consumed by other animals.

What does a good Christian do? They leave money in the collection plate, for someone else to put in their pocket.

But this goes back to the original purpose of this thread. You can live well and follow 'the rules of the lord' or morals so to speak without acknowledging there is a God.

absolutely, and you can be a wonderful person that can reviered by others, however, you can not get to heaven as defined by my religion without accepting Jesus as you personal savior. This part is the tragidy, there are so may wonderful people that don't have that final part of the puzzle that will fulfill the them and make them whole, (as christians define it, myself included)

Maybe I'm one of the only people making any sense in this thread, but you can't have your cake and eat it too here. It's one or the other, otherwise it's just a bunch of loophole bullshit.

This part is the tragidy, there are so may wonderful people that don't have that final part of the puzzle that will fulfill the them and make them whole, (as christians define it, myself included)

So my question to you is who defined the parameters? Was it merely a human that decided this? What is God himself that came down and said this? Was Jesus really the some of God or was he merely another human? If human, did he have the ability to communicate with the Lord? Did he really rise after the third day or is this just hearsay?

Just a few things to actually think about since humans are in fact fallable.

Why do you pray to God if he has a divine plan for you anyways? You're asking for something that God has already predetermined you will or will not get. Do you think he's going to bend his divine plan for your worthless ***?

God has a divine plan, however it is not predetermined, we are creatures of free will, we can chose left or right, right or wrong. As a christian I make decisions that may be tempting and complicated with a simple determining question, "would God approve" When I get answers that align themselves with that question typically my life goes much better than not putting the decision making process to that test.

If there's a divine plan, why do you pray to God for a miracle? Why do you ask him, the all-knowing God, to change his plan for your convenience? Surely he has your best intentions at heart!

Of course, if he has a divine plan, then you don't really have free will, either.
