I'm going to Edmonton tomorrow, is there any good audio shops around? I found out A&B Sound went bankrupt.

I'm looking for two 1500W amps or one 3000W amp...

A&B Sound hasn't been a good audio shop for at least 4 years when Seanix bought them out and ruined everything good about them. No surprise they went out of business, especially since they were relying heavily on CD sales.

"Hey fellas, I've got a great idea. We should buy an established home theater, car audio, and media store with knowledgeable salesmen, fire everyone who knows what they're doing because they're too expensive to keep, and replace them with moderately attractive, but completely retarded, women. Meanwhile, we'll remove their ability to match and beat competitor pricing, providing absolutely no incentive for long-time shoppers and new buyers alike to shop at our establishment. As an added bonus, we'll introduce a computer department that only has our own overpriced and overrated products that few people have ever heard of."

As for actual audio shops in Edmonton, no clue. The A&B Sound fiasco pisses me off, though, because it used to be one of my favourite places to shop before those fvcktards ruined everything.

I pitched the idea of getting a refurbished SAZ-3000D (yes, parrents want to get me something for xmas) but mom don't want to get me some used stuff... even though it has warranty and stuff.

Isn't there a place called Rip Rock? Where is it located?

Aside from that Rip Rock is not a shop.

Got a PM on CCA, was surprised..

Not sure if you'd consider a used amp or not, but I have an absolutely mint DD Z1 that I may sell... not a single scratch on the thing and is 100% functional. I had my other one stolen out of my car a month ago or so (I've been keeping this one in my room), so I'm thinking of saying screw it and selling this one off instead of replacing the stolen one with yet another.

It will daily at a half ohm (I've done it off of a single group 31 yellowtop and stock alternator) and I've benched it at 3,850 RMS into a 1 ohm load. It's never been abused (I actually work at a car audio shop as well!) and was purchased for $1200... AWESOME amp.

Looking to get $900CAD, let me know if you're interested. "
