Question concerning some PE drivers

I'm needing to build a couple small 2 way's for a friends billiard room. I have a couple of these tweets laying around that I intend to use.

if you look on the parts express project showcase I'm pretty sure there is a project using those same drivers. yep, here it is http://www.partsexpress.com/projectshowcase/daylum/driver.html

Yea they had those as a "deal of the Weekend" a couple of weeks back. I picked one up and I'm going to use it for a sub in my office at work. Everyone on the TechTalk boards say they are really nice speakers for the money. They say that the midange sounds much better than the:http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=295-305 and that the bottom end is pretty good too. I'm excited about finishing up my little project. I'm curious to see if this little sub will go down as far as my modeling says it will.

Do they sound boomy or popie, because a lot of aluminum cones I've have hear have a tendency to sound really popie...

When they get in the lower range and an impulse sound is sent to them they make a poping sound and get punchy and ringy at that point..... It's hard to describe it, but aluminum cones do it....
