yeah, i'm a noob with the components. me and a friend are going to install his CDTs in a bit. he doesn't have an amp yet, but does the power ratings include the tweeters? i just run speaker wires to the crossover, and then from the crossover to the tweets and woofer right? the 160 RMS is just to the crossover? thanks.

Yes. It should be the amount of power each side can handle.

Yes.

amp output -> crossover -> mid and tweeter

Huh?

160w is how much power you should be able safely power each side with.

awesome, thanks for the help... and that was just more clarification. the 160 RMS is what i am supposed to be feeding to the crossover.

that is correct, as Squeak said. The crossover sees the 160 rms.

And each speaker could potentially see the entire 160w RMS aswell.
