Question about wiring my L5 with the amp I have

I have a 12" square kicker L5 at Dual 2 Ohm and I have a Hifonics Titan TX1005D 1000 watt D-class mono amp.

And i'm wondering how should i wire the voice coils on the sub? I found this link but not sure which way i should go with the amp i have.

i see theres other voice coil wiring diagrams i am just unsure as what the advantages are from having different wiring

Wiring determines the impedance of the amp, since you have a dual 2 ohm sub it can be wired to 4 ohms or 1 ohm. Seeing as your amp isnt 1 ohm stable i wouldn't wire it to that.

i shouldnt wire it to that amp? well if i had to make it work, theres no way at all? what would happened if i wired it to 4 ohm

If you wire it to 4 ohms that amp will put out 350 watts

The whole point of DVC subs is they give you an option as to what you can wire it to. Dual 2 subs can be wired to 1 or 4 ohm, dual 4 subs can be wired to 2 ohm or 8 sub. This all comes into play when matching an amp and sub.

i see, so for the time being can i wire it at 4ohm until i get a different amp?
