12in Memphis 1000 w/ 1000w Planet Audio Amp

I have a 12' Memphis 1000watt sub and i have it hooked up to a 1000watt Planet Audio Apocalypse amp. and i need help setting it up i have no idea what i should have the amp set at could anyone please help!

Turn the bass boost off, Set the low pass to 80hz and subsonic at 28hz, Adjust gain with deck volume almost max so you can judge how loud you want the sub. becarful not to cause distortion or clipping. back the volume down once you like it.
