Despite what Drama says about you, you're alright with me.

decent welding cable is always nice and flexible it has to be if you are working with it all the time. It is the cable that is meant for permanent installation in buildings that is not very flexible and stiff it is the kind that has only 30-50 strands and almost needs a bender to bend. I have flex o prene in my car and its good stuff.

I ended up finding a spot not too far away from me that sells it. I got some of the 1/0 flex o prene. It is not as flexible as the kicker hyperflex, but it's not super stiff either. I was going to get the 2/0, but the guy talked me out of it with how many amps per 50 feet the 1/0 is supposed to be capable of. I believe he said 350 amps per 50 feet or something like that. I may still get some 2/0, but I want another color. All they had was black.

Hello/

I just bought two coils of this 2/0 from this TryStar company.I bought 1~50' Coil of Red & 1~50' Coil of Black. The 2/0 ,has a "Inner Liner"[between the Copper & Outer Jacket] of an opposite color.I'll check mine now...Hold Tight.

Ok,the Red & Black both have White Liners. Most Welding Cable has a Paper seperator...this company doesn't use that kraft paper junk.I've have,in the past bought 4 & 1/0 Gauge,Red & Black, welding cable from TryStar before, and had no problems w/it at all...When I heat the battery lug to get it ready for Solder,it doesn't melt like the Car Audio does.

Oh...and it also fits my 1/0 StreetWires Gold Ring Terminals/:D.Yesssss!

If I ever need to buy Cable again again...I'll always buy from this company.

Almost forgot, guys. They do offer some different colors too.IIRC:Red/Blacl/Light Blue/Dark Blue/Light Green/Dark Green and a couple of others.Plus,You can get *Free Printing* on the Cable you order,at *No Extra Charge*.I got this:

So give a look see.Sorry for the Long Winded reply/:( .Take Care.

Regards/

technically most wire can take alot more than we like to put through it in car audio without burning up. The problem is in how much voltage drop you have with a certain amperage.

50ft of 1/0 gauge will drop about 1.7v if you try to pull 350 amps through it. All of a sudden that 14v you managed to get your electrical system to sustain at that current turns into low 12's by the time it gets to the amp.
