Question about Vintage Car

In the very near future I'll be purchasing a 1979 Volkswagen SuperBeetle from a relative. I plan on re-painting it and also redoing the interior, as well as eventually putting a system in it.

but the question i have for you now is... I'm sure some of you know about the Catalog "JEGS"

my question is that someone told me I could get one that was only "vintage foreign" but i can't seem to find where i can order this.

and if you don't know that, do you know of any websites very similar to JEGS that i can order catalogs from that are car specific so i don't have to sift through the entire catalog only to find a few things that are compatible with my car?

Jcwhitney.com has a beetle only catalog. Jeg's is racing and performance only I believe.

Try this online place...It is actually WorldPac which is a very large parts distributor...I assume you are looking for parts from your post. Your car is a Type1
