depends on what organization, which format, and what class.
There is

dB drag = TermLab on windshield, all windows sealed shut. seats can fold down.

USACi = Legal SPL uses TermLab on dash

Outlaw SPL uses TermLab in kick panel or anyother place in the cabin that you like.

Port Wars uses TermLab in the port. Windows can be opened or closed.

MECA SPL = TermLab on dash, windows sealed up

Drive by SPL uses meter outside the car with windows down.

Realistic SPL uses TermLab at the headrest.

IASCA IDBL = TermLab on windshield with windows sealed up

I am tired, I forget all the details and I forget the rest.

Just to make one clarification, MECA only has 2 formats these days.

one is the SPL format, but it is all done at the headrest now. Doors/windows can be open.

The other is driveby.

In dB Drag you can be in street stock B or C

Maybe some, but not all.

There will also be cars that your system puts to shame. Thats why there are different classes.

It is very fun. Bass Race in dB Drag is really fun.

depends on the car and the setup.

Some cars lose dBs with windows open. You just have to test it out and see.

worth buying my own db tester and testing before i go or just wait?? say in the trunk right now i just have a walmart battery haha..if i got a difernt battery..idk how to spell it kinekit or something seen it on the site gives off more power?

Think with that setup up i am atleast pushing 100 db?

never really been to one so i think i should go and get the feel of it first?? but if im running 4 mtx 7500s (800 rms each i think) and 2 jl audio 500.1 (two subs off each amp) what class you think that is?
