Question about old gas. Need help.

I would just let the fuel pump pump it into a jug..Easy to do

Just buy a few feet of 3/8ths hose and bypass the pump...

Dump out as much as you can and add fresh overpriced fuel

It is a 00 beetle. It ran for a littlebit alright, but i dont really want to be gumming up the heads or damaging the car. I tried cyphoning out the gas with a garden hose but repeated attempts just got me lightheaded. There must be a sharp kink or something in the inlet to prevent siphoning.

My truck sat for about a year and a half, instead of droppen the tank I filled it with mobile premium and added Seafoam in the gas. I drove it around for a few days till the tank was empty (it ran a little shitty like it had a miss in it but it ran good for sitten that long)then refilled it with premium and seafoam again. Did that a few more times and did 2 complete seafoam treatments and my truck runs like it did when I bought brand new. http://www.seafoamsales.com/motorTuneUpTechGas.htm

if it were me I'd just top it off with new gas, preferably premium and maybe add a fuel cleaner such as techron or seafoam.

Drive it till it's almost completely out of gas then top it off and maybe ad more cleaner and it should be fine.
