Question about Ohms...and wiring kit

Lets say my subs run on 4 ohms(which they do), and my amp can do either 2 or 4 ohms. How do you adjust the ohms? Is it just in the way that you have the subs/amp wired up, or do you adjust it from the amp? Also, is there any particular brands of wiring kits you guys recommend? Thanks!

Check out the wiring sticky on this site, it should give you an idea of how to set things up to your amplifier.
