Hello guys, new here and sort of new to the car audio community. A couple years back I bought what seemed like a good deal to me then, and it isn't so bad that I haven't enjoyed it, but I want more power. Hopefully the idea I have will work, and I can continue to use the subs with a new amp or adding one additional of the one I currently have and doubling the wattage.
Subs:

Power Handling:
Peak: 1300 watts
RMS: 380 watts
Impedance: Single 4 Ohms
Recommended enclosure: Sealed
Amp:

200 watts RMS x 2 @ 4 ohms
250 watts RMS x 2 @ 2 ohms
500 watts RMS x 1 bridged @ 4 ohms
Okay, right now I have them in a box that has a wall in between them, so they are basically in their own cubed box. I guess it is pushing 200 watts to each sub atm, correct? If I hook up just one sub, I should be able to get 500 watts to it? Which is 100 more than both together, would this be a noticeable difference if this idea is true? If so, would a new box built just for the one be a good idea? It says 1 bridged, what does bridging it mean? My next idea would be to get another of the same amp and push 500 watts to each sub with its own amp. Is this possible? Would this be the best? Would end up being 1000 watts vs the 400 it does now? Can the subs handle 500 watts constantly while being rated rms 380 but peak at 1300?
Oh and when I had bought this, it was with my old car and I had it all installed. I plan on doing it all myself on my new car, what wires and whatnot will I need? What gauge, etc? I may upgrade in the future and would like to get whatever size would be best if I do plan on doing so.
