Hi, i'm new to this site and was wondering if maybe someone might know a solution to a problem i'm having. I have a 1999 Dodge Durango SLT, when I purchased the Durango it already had the Infinity sound system in it the deck and an Infinity amp. I recently had 2 JL Audio subs and a Panasonic CD player and a 800 watt amp installed by a professional car audio shop about a week ago. Since it's been hooked up my ABS light has been coming on and also the brake light, when both lights are on my speedometer does not start working till I hit forth gear, but if both lights are off the speedometer works fine. I was wondering if maybe the first amp could be causing this problem, in order to hook the system up they bypassed the factory amp. I pulled the fuses out for the ABS and instrument cluster but they're both fine. If anyone might know anything about it, it would easy my worries. Thanks Josh

The shop might have drilled through a wire to your instrument cluster? That happened to my dad once. I doubt it has anything to do with power shortages or anything like that, so I don't see how an amp can cause your problem.

Thanks, I left it to the pro's, I don't know shit about car stereo install's. It sounds great just the problems i'm having out of the panel is confusing! Someone was saying maybe it was a bad wheel speed sensor but I don't know if that would mess up the speedometer and make the ABS lights come on at the same time or not.
