Question about my back seat... blocking sub's output?

Had a Bonneville my self. Had the same issue... just got for it!!!....helps the sound a bit...but for sure dont cut out seat mounts....or you could do a hinge system while doing all that...not hard at all.

Would you say it was worth tha hassle of pulling the box out to do it?

just got done doing it to my grand prix, had a bunch of metal i jigsawed out for my two ia's.......loud as hell

Sure man go for it....Helps the sound alot. I did this on my buddy's Dodge Dynasty and I think it would of been stupid not to do it, but only do this if ur not about ur car in perfect condition. Some ppl might think thats a bad idea hacking away at the car, but if ur looking for more sound its worth the work. Also metal on those back seats are thin enough if you got a good pair of tin snips...some times the sawzaw can get a little crazy on you at certain points. All though you will be killing ur hands using them, but I say a sawzaw and a hacksaw and ur good to go.
