aiight i have a Bazooka 300 watt amp Model #EL260. the specs say that the amp is 70 watt x 2 at 4 ohms and 95 watts x 2 at 2 ohms then bridged at 4 ohms it is i think around 190 i dont know but anyway i ran my subs parallel to the amp thinking that it was 2 ohm stable and it goes into protection mode. i dont understand why it is going into protection mode if it says 95 watts x 2 at 2 ohms. So how do i set my amp to those specs(^)? also i have 2 4 ohm svc subs someone give me some info im just learnin this stuff thanks.

First of all...How is your amp connected to your speakers? (mono or stereo) 2wires from your amp or 4 wires from your amp. The rating on your amp suggests that when running in MONO (two speaker wires from amp) that the total nominal impedance (ohms) should be no less than 4 ohms. If you are running in stereo (4 speaker wires) you can run a 2 ohm impedance on each channel. What it sounds like is that you are running in Mono mode with a 2 Ohm impedance.....this will put your amp into "protection mode" as it is drawing too much current. Hook the speakers up in stereo (each on a seperate channel) as this will be your only other viable option. (besides running 8ohm mono which will only give you like 48 watts per sub)
