Question about mounting Memphis 8" components

[Passat 35i]

I'm putting a set of 8" Memphis studio components (point sync's) in the doors of my '91 Passat. Here's my dilema, I can fairly easily fit them into the door, but due to the diameter of the speaker I won't be able to turn the driver towards me much, will this sound bad or was this taken into consideration when they were designed?
