I've got a pair of POLK DB690 6x9s (4 ohm) and a Polk DB 10" sub SVC that I want to hook up.
I am planning to run this with a PG Octane R5.04. RMS on the amp is:
4 OHM Stereo - 50x4
2 OHM Stereo - 75x4
4 OHM bridged - 150 x2
To get the most power, I would assume that the 4 OHM bridged is the way to go...I planned on bridging the sub on the 2 rear channels.
1) Can I bridge the 6x9s ??? If so, I assume that this is the best way??
Also, the amp has built in crossovers...If I select low pass for the sub, it sets the front to High pass.....
2) Will I lose alot of the bass on the 6x9 if I have it set to high passs....
3) Also what setting for the filters would you suggest?
4) Do you think 150w will be enough for the sub (it is supposed to handle
250+ rms)
Thanks
Doug
