question about high level input, need help

i have a sony xplod 1200w 2/1 channel power amp, the model number is xm-2200gtx. the amp is connected to two sony xplod 12" subs. i am tryin to hook them up in my 2003 chevy silverado z-71 to my stock stereo. i have bought the high to low level input converter, i have everything hooked up and the amp has power and is on but there is no sound. i think the problem might be in the converter box and i was thinkin about tryin to use a high level input to hook it up because it has a jack for it on the amp. the stock system in my truck is a bose system. would it be ok to use the high level? how would i hook it up? thanks for your time

tap a set of speaker wires and run it to the high level input of the amp. Most amps come with a harness so that this can be done easily. The bose systems can be a pita just be sure to tap a speaker getting low frequencys
