Question about fuses

Hey, I blew my backup radio (perhaps the memory fuse) within the engine compartments fuse box with my older pioneer deh-7400, and saw some smoke come from my deck. I bought a new pioneer 7700 and replaced the fuse. The fuse is rated @ 7.5A. I am not much of an electronics wiz and was wondering if I were to replace that fuse with a 10A fuse if I may eliminate the problem of blowing another fuse and perhaps my new deck. Thanks. Also the radio fuse within the car was untouched and looked brand new. I have a 94 civic hatchback. Thanks for any suggestions!

LOL - mine was a higher end model too - iirc deh-9300. Low mileage too, it was sitting around for year collecting dust.

One or two, they are still subwoofer outs and are mono summed signals from both left and right. Even the 2 RCA subwoofer pre-outs on the 2nd one...

Nothing to add to this, Just wanted to say good luck and that I miss MiniDisc. OH!! Is that a Japanese Radio Tuner or does it get stations in the US?
