Question about Focal 165kf break in period (pls help no0b)

I am a Noob for sure.

I bought these forcals about 1 month ago running off the head unit. I bought an amp today (Eclispe EA4000) When I turn it up, 1/3 of the way mid bass distorts like crazy.

Can I riun the break in period if i keep turning it up too loud? I dont wanna break these things. I am new to car audio.

What is the BEST WAY to break in new speakers for tull potential? Or did i miss my chance running it off the HU first?
