Question about Electrical.

Right now i have 4 16v turbostart batteries, 2 ia 20.1s and 2 18 inch mts. I am planning on buying a 300 amp alternator that is externally regulated which cost alot of money. My question is would a 300 amp alternator alone without the batteries be enough to run 2 ia 20.1s at .3 ohms? Or should i keep the 16 v batteries and just run them? I would be saving alot of money by getting rid of them but if i can get a significantly more amount of power by running them then i will go ahead and spend the money but if not then i dont think i will. Yeah i mean...I would be saving a ton of money by not running a 16 volt system.
