What's a Subwoofer?
I want to debadge the back of my car, It seems like they are stuck on my two sided tape, I dont know if there are holes in trunk lid or not, Is there any way to find out before taking them off? If not How hard is it to fill holes? Just use bondo and sand/Paint?

Sorry If this is a dumb question, The **** emblems are faded bad now..Just want to take them off since I cant find standard one's...Anyone know where i can get them actually?

I would like either crown Vic or Maruader badges!

Thanks for any help, if its a dumb question, Whatever, Gotta ask them to learn

Ya they should just be on there with two sided extra sticky tape. So to remove, just get some really strong fishing line, or maybe some thin wire, just slide underneath. Then use some Goofoff to remove the glue resedue.

De-badging your car is like the newest thing in SoCal, everyone's doing it there.

Most Fords have little post on the back of the badges that line up with holes in the panels.

You could pull them off and paint them the same color as the car.

Thats what I had done with my last Ford, and plan to do with this one.

Im into the 'all one color' look though (all black)

Looks better than stock and only cost what a can of paint is, no filling holes and priming/painting if you totaly shave them.

i have seen a lot of fords that are just stuck on though. use a heat gun and heat it up slowly and evenly. then gently start lifting a corner. you can use 3m adhesive remover to get to goo off. test it in a spot first though. and then apply a protective coat of wax to the area afterwards.

Use dental floss, it's surprisingly strong. Usually the badges in the middle are pinned, the outer ones on the trunk are stuck on.

Strong and soft so it won't damage paint. Add a little heat, take your time, work the floss back and forth. Easy.

I did it on my '01 silverado... took off the side moulding because it was faded and ugly. It looks 10x better... it was easy to rip off the moulding, but it took me about 2 hours to get all the glue lines off (including about 20 minutes of "airconditioner time"). I used 3M Adhesive Solvent. Spray, rub off with thumbnail, spray, rub off with thumbnail, and so on and so 'til it's all gone. Shouldn't take but maybe 10 minutes or so to take off some of the little emblems though, and that's taking your time. Like said above though, you'll want to wash and wax the area when you get through. Good luck.

Joseph.

Bondo to come next, The whole car will be repainted soon, Have a couple dings to get out, and some sanding, and fabbing to get Marauder bumpers, and front end to fit on.....
