I just got a new cap today but I am not too sure how to wire it correctly.....thanks for helping......Also should I charge up the cap ?

My current wiring is: Battery(4 gauge)----distribution block(two 8 gauge)----2 amp, so should I wire the cap before or after the distribution block ??

i'm not exactly sure how to wire in the cap but i do know that you always need to charge the cap before using it with your system...most caps come with a small circuit board or light bulb deal to charge them...

Is this a used capacitor or new?If it is new you definately need to charge it. Some caps don't need anything to charge it with, just plug it in and go. However there are also some that need a resistor to charge it. If it is used you probably should charge it if it has been under heavy use. Also I would keep it in line with you sub amp after the distro block. Hope that helps.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I usually wire them as close to the sub amp as possible. So I guess that means after the d block. get yourself a couple ring terminals of the appropriate gauge for your power wire. And cut the power wire going to your sub amp. Attach your power wire to and fromthe amp to the positive terminal of the cap. And the negative terminal of the cap to ground. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

One or two, they are still subwoofer outs and are mono summed signals from both left and right. Even the 2 RCA subwoofer pre-outs on the 2nd one...

Nothing to add to this, Just wanted to say good luck and that I miss MiniDisc. OH!! Is that a Japanese Radio Tuner or does it get stations in the US?

That would be fantastic! Id love to see the skills involved here. It always intrigues me to see some customizing from small and detailed to large...
