Question about batts and alts

Ok say my amps combined pull a total of 700 amps at max! Say if I buy 3 250 amp alts will I still need a battery bank?

You will still need some bats. I would say 3 or 4 D3100 or equivalent batteries. you could go less but i wound not, if any thing i would go a little more than that.

The bank is whats holding the powa-

figure 100ah or so for every 1000w.

Yeah I'm thinking 4 deka 9a31 batts in back and 1 9a34 up front. That should be more than enough to keep me at 14.4+ at full tilt daily.
