them flame q's are good subs and that is a real good price i just sold a pair of used ones for 250 they get real loud if u give them the power they want and they didnt sound half as bad as people here try and make em out to be they would actually be louder than the type r's but the r's would definitly have better sq.flame me all u want ill stand by the audiobahns because i do have experiance with them and they were one of the best setups ive heard and ive heard plaenty of setups they got louder than my friends three mtx 8000 12's and i had the bahns sealed.

I hate Audiobahn fanboys ...... you just can't get through to them...... then again I also hate people who generlize that RE pwnz all and that every audiobahn ever made sucks.

I DO NOT LIKE ANY AUDIOBAHN BELOW THE 05 SERIES!!!

the 05's- linear compressions are decent but none sound great and none should ever be fed rated power...... I know the 05's, 06;s, and 08's sound decent but not good.... never heard linear compressions and the eternals sound like a complete *** fart cannon.

NOW the immortals are different.... I don't know about the new ones but the old ones were some **** good drivers. get loud as hell (yes louder then an SX or a type R for all u kiddies who go on heresay) and they sound pretty **** good. Not in the ranks of my mags, but I think they sound better then SE's and almost as good as xxx's/brahmas.

I have had 3 different pairs of audiobahn subs and could never get them to sound right:furious: . I tried all kinds of boxes and all kinds of amps. They do get loud but sound like ****. Once they get as loud as they are going to get that is it, after they sound like total crap. I will never spend any more money than I alreay have on audiobahn again. Take it from me that has much experience with their products, all I have to show for it is a room full of nice chrome audio equipment //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif .

i have 2 audiobahn AWC12T (1000 watts peak, 500RMS each) and they bang..i rarely need to take the subwoofer volume on my alpine headunit above 6/15 to set off car alarms..theyre pretty inexpensive but are reliable and get the job done

"Job"? Is the "job" of subwoofers to set off car alarms?

I've listened to one or two Abahn setups, and I mean that literally. Both did get pretty loud, but they sounded more like booming subwoofers than bass heavy music. However I wouldn't trust either install.

All I'm going to say on the matter is Audiobahn puts a LOT of money and effort into cosmetic appeal, where that money would work great wonders for their R&D department.

If you want Audiobahn, buy it. But LISTEN to what you want to buy first. Some woofers are proven and you'll know exactly what you're getting yourself into when you buy them, others are not. Around here, Audiobahn is not.
