BOB SAGGET!
i priced an install at a very professional shop in santa rosa and the guy said for the 3 amps, 2 batts, 2 subs, h/u a little bit, and the speakers and stuff would be 800 dollars? i dont think i want a very fancy install just for them to hook my stuff up and i could maybe watch and learn a little bit. usually i hook my own stuff up but im iffy because of the cost of this ish, anyways if i ****ed something up id be too pissed off. anyways, how much do your guys's shops charge for a full install? id be supplying all the equipment and it would all be inside the truck and they wouldnt really have to do much? but idk all in all they're the closest to me that i think id trust my equipment wiith, plus they warranty all their installs for life? idk what do you poopers think

Just do some reading on here, and learn how to install it yourself. Save some dough.
ya no shit dude? i was talking over the phone, and hes ll roughly around 814 AND 69 CENTS NI99A? i was like "cough cough choke" "um okay well, gosh i was quoted like 150 dollars for the install in a nearby town" that could probly do the job just fine? bu then again i dont know if they warranty their work? he was like, haha thats all they charged for a full install on all that stuff? i was like, uhhh, ya? besides its just the fuhckin install? i told him i was ok on that though? its to bad, cause i wanted to zip down there and see a friend of mine to bnut, oh well, frick them bishes fo sho.

Why don't you just do it yourself? I mean they gotta make money, they want cut you a deal because you visit ca.com. Their in business to male money.
i know dude, but an install for like maybe a show truck i could see 800 bucks on like a 2 or 3 day thing? but all i want is a basic slap em in there and ill clean it up if need be. the reason i didnt want to do it, was because the equipment ive recently purchased cost 500 dollars per sub so 500x2, saz3000d's 750x2, already in over 2 grand, and i work very hard for the money so i definatly didnt want to fuhck something up by a little accident. obviously you see where im coming from

Do they charge you like 500 to put the subs in the box for you or something?

Ask them what is the primary reason for the cost so high?

Batt install. Which part(s) of it cost so much.

well try and talk them down. what were u thinking is a reasonable price?
idk really, ive been quoted no higher then 200 from 2 shops closer to me, which is pretty reasonable to? i live in crescent city, and this specific shop is in santa rosa? so on top of driving my azz the 220 miles down there, they still got the nizzerve to say it would be 800 dollars? idk i thought maybe 200 bucks would be descent enough? my box would already be in the ttruck and everything would be ready for wiring already, theyd barely have to do shiit? lol id rather buy a hooker with aids and a poop milkshake combo and take a bath in it for 00 bucks before i payed them that much to hook me all up? it didnt quite seem right to me? i dont see how he could actually attract bizness by saying the word 800 dollars for an install? idk. maybe im wrong? maybe they usually go for that much but im not exactly down for that? it kinda pisses me off that everything i want has to be so effin hard to get and expensive because it takes me a long time to get the money for this stuff cause i dont have a job. i have to sell my penile for money lol jk

seriously i dont even think i want to talk to the fricker because he wants to act like thats a good price or something just like alot of shops do, and you know what? they can lick a VERY dry turd and search for an aquafina for all i care

allot of times, if you did not buy the equipment off them the install price will be inflated. unless you want to go to like best buy where they got all the standard prices for a deck, amps, speakers, etc.

idc who does the job, i just want it done right and id like to watch and learn from it to? it would be nice to get to learn a little something as far as a strategy or like, steps you need to take as you go like ground before hot or whatever. but yea i just dont want them to screw something up and then say, uh oh? we cant replace that 700 dollar amplifier? you know what im sayin? i think i going to read my azz off or somethin gay so i can learn more about how to go upon this with better knowledge since my equipment is so expensive you know what i mean? i know the value of a dollar and i dont want to make a little mistake and fry something you know what i mean?
