QUESTION about Alternator voltage

How's it going..

So I've already contacted XS Power about this. I know, it's their product, they know best.. BUT, I just wanted to see if everybody agrees for the hell of it.. I like multiple opinions.

Basically, I have a DC Power 270XP alt up front. I upgraded the voltage regulator on it to run at 15v. I was told at the time that that would be fine, even though high, to run my car's electrical off of it. This is regulated at the alt.

No headlights have popped. Nothing malfunctions.. haha. It works.

However.. My question is about my battery bank. I have a D3400 up front, and 3 D3100's I'm the back. All being supplied by this alt at 15v. Do you guys think it's okay to have it this way? That charging voltage is a little over the hill for the recommended charging voltage for these 12v batts. XS Power said it should be fine. That I need to just watch for swelling of the batts.. cells fuming in the batts.. and all that. So far so good. About 3 weeks in to having it this way.

What do y'all think? Should be fine?

Thanks guys.
