I recently got my hands on a pair of alpine swr-10d4s with a hifonics brutus brx1100.10. I have a 99 jeep cherokee that im putting them in and i dont want to buy a new amp, so i was wondering what would sound better, both of the type rs or just one?

Sound better? that's vague. Louder with 2? yes most likely if you have the enclosure room. If the amp is stable at 1 ohm and the pair of subs can take how much power that amp produces at 1 ohm, wire the coils as well as the 2 subs in parallel to each other and let em wang
