question about a btl

i was testing all my stuff tonite because i am about to install it and dont want no surprises when i hook it up and i was wondering when playing a sub free air will it sound funny my subs kind of made a lose slapping noise even at low volume thanks for any input

just depends really, my MT's were pretty noisy when played free air, they use real tight gaps

it might be the tinsels, but shouldnt be a problem
