Question about 2 12 kicker CVR wiring DVC 2 ohms

Hi,

I had a question for you guys regarding the wiring. I got the prefab box for the cvrs that kicker made and well I replaced the 4 ohm DVC they came with with my 2 ohm DVCs. Well I was looking around on the website and I never noticed that cone 1 has dots and cone 2 does not. What would happen if I didnt wire correctly for example:

Im running both subs at 2ohms giving amp a 2 ohm load. What if I placed the one wire that connects one cone together to the positive of cone 1 and negative of cone 2 and wired the the positive cone 2 and the negative cone 1 to amp?? Im just worried because the guys at a local shop did it when I wasnt looking.

Reason I ask is because Im currently powering these suckers with an audiobahn a8000v and I get a bit of distortion and not much of accuracy. Tryed to set subsonic to 25 HZ and LPF to 90HZ as well as 50HZ and moved the gain ALL over. When I get it somewhat clear I dont like the bass it is making mabe because the amp is class AB? Im curious if class D amps have a different bass sound.

sounds like a wiring problem to me hehe, you sure you got it wired to a 2 ohm load?

scroll down to the second post. you can either wire to .5, 2, or 8 ohm load, and with that amp, do the 2 ohm load hehe. Check to make sure if you wired it like that picture

Well following the diagram to get a 2 ohm load to amp yes but not sure about the way its wired on subs. the dots connect together and solids to amp for example. For some reason Im paranoid that positive dot is connected to negative solid and negative dot goes to amp and positive solid goes to amp as well. Would this mistake cause distortion or cause something to have exploded already? Ive been using it for a bit now but getting frustrated with bass sound. By the way I have a ranger truck extended cab if that makes a difference

THis is how I think I have it but like I said is there a problem if I connect the voice cone 1 (dots) and 2 (solid) the way I think it might be?:

you will just wire it like the diagram
