I opened up a box that i had laying around and noticed a different port design.
this box had a 12W3 and it hit really low. My new box hits harder and is alot more violent, meaning that things rattle that didn't rattle before.. but it doesn't hit low and clean like the JL did.
another thing that was funny was that you cant hear the bass outside the car with my new box. i now run a type R and it pounds but there is no bass outside. nothing major.. just noticed it when my brother took my car down the block. before you could hear my car a few blocks away.
here is a quick model that i made. nothing is to scale but its pretty close to how my older box is designed. its my first 3D design so exuse the slopiness.
anyone know about these designs or formulas to make these type of slot ports?
