Questing regarding fuses...

Watching a video by crutchfield about the installation of amplifiers it said that before your system is hooked up to keep the fuse out of the fuse holder, how would one do this with a ANL type fuse which practically requires you to disconnect the power cable from the fuse block to do anything regarding removing the fuse.

My ANL fuse can just slide out????

Well unfortunately this 150A fuse block that came with this JL Audio Dual amplifier kit doesn't seem to just easily 'slide out' and I do not know how to fuse the distribution block.
