Quesion about amp

On monoblock amlifiers does it give the rms power to each sub or that power to both.Mine says 1000rms at 1ohm and my subs are wired together to 1hm.Is it giving each sub 1000watts or is it giving a total of 1000watts to both?

If the amplifier is rated at 1000w then it's going to output a total of 1000w, it doesn't matter if you have 1 woofer connected to it or 30, they will divide the power.

yea. the more subs you hookup the more times it's getting divided. if you hooked up 2 subs to an amp that does 1000w, it'll do 500 to each. if it did 1000w to each that'd be free power //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
