It dont matter.Even if there is nothing on the other end of the speaker wire? does this matter at all if I'm planning on installing a 4 channel? It shouldn't since I'm bypassing the internal amp anyway right? I wont lose any SQL or anything?
I usually put a small single wirenut and a dab of tape on each of the exposed ends of my HU speaker outs to prevent any shorting.Even if there is nothing on the other end of the speaker wire? does this matter at all if I'm planning on installing a 4 channel? It shouldn't since I'm bypassing the internal amp anyway right? I wont lose any SQL or anything?
Yeah ill use some electric tape for sure. and its a kenwood kdc mp442u not the greatest so i wouldnt count on being able to shut off amp.Definitely tape up the end of the speaker wire.
Which HU? You may be able to turn off the internal amp.
im confused.. you lost me!So... the speaker wire isn't hooked to anything, but you're wondering if it's detrimental to have said speaker wire in existence in and of itself when using the RCAs?
Let me ask you this... what other scenario is there besides the one you're describing?
