mclerico, thanks for posting the wild beast, but im not trin 2 run a 6yr old design.. and i would need 1 sub to wire at 1ohm.. then you gettin in a pissing match with snoopdan is not a good idea.. its snoopdan for fux sake

very few companies still have there subs built here in america, almost everything comes from china nowadays, its cheaper and more profit, idmax's are made in china and the idq's are made in the phillipeanes so i gues the quantums are just as good lmfao

oh no im not saying its a bad sub, but yo are saying the quantum 750rms is a better sub then the wild beast i think not, no where near inmho, i can find a pair of the 750rms for like 130 shipped the price of one wildbeast and yes for a 60 dollar price no one will be as close you are right

um my distributor carries cadence too those subs are from 5-6yrs ago. the quantum also has 3" coil and is 1500rms not 1500 peak like the cadence. the motor is larger and better coil cooling too. dont forget the cadence has a single 2ohm coil...

The Wild Beast has a 3 inch coil too crackhead. The Wild Beast is underrated at 700 RMS but will easily do 1000. That Quantum junk is also overrated at 1500 RMS, but it won't go anywhere near that cleanly. The motor is larger? lol The Wild Beast has bigger magnets. The Wild Beast is either single 2 ohm or 4 ohm. You FAIL at life.

lmao, this is a joke right? the motor is smaller on the beast vrs the quantum spl. the quantum is far from over rated is isnt eff but will handle 1500 all day this i know i had a amp i have personally clamped on one with more than 1500rms.

i would love for you to school me,how many yrs have you been in the car audio industry? i am always open to learning. how many subwoofers have you designed or rebuilt and made louder?

You are trashing on Cadence audio for Quantum? Nearly everything Quantum makes is overrated. Cadence is one of the most respected brands out there. The Wild Beast has bigger magnets. It is stupid to even suggest a Quantum Audio product. I stopped taking you serious when you were bragging about the Quantum having a 3 inch coil when the Cadence has one too. I didn't know Cadence was chinese, could of swore they are American.

right they both have 3" coils, i have had coils out of each sub, and even gone as far as taking the quantum apart and boring the top plate for a bigger coil. the quantum has 180oz mag where the cadence is 150oz. not that 30oz of mag makes a sub louder than another. yes both subs made in china. the quantum is lower end of db drive, if you want a spl sub the wd is what you want. the thread starter wants a good budget sub with a orange cone the quantum spl is exactly what he is looking for.
