alright guys.. tax time is comin up and the wife wants some more subs.. she doesnt want crazy loud or brand name or any other hoopla.. she just wants orange subs to match her orange car.. soim tryin to appease her and come across these.. they dont look bad atall, but i have NEVER heard of Quantum audio.. and god knows i have owned everything from DD, AQ, RE, Massive, MTX, Memphis, Sundown products

2 orange 12s, 1500rms to go on her 1610d.. would have a custom Enclosure 3-3.5 @35hz.. and this isnt a bad price atall

i am a quantum audio dealer, they are a lower end db drive same parent co. they are def a decent brand with low failure rate. the spl series that you have posted up as a 12" it will handle gobs of power i put 1 on a 120v for several mins @ 1ohm no problem, except some mech noise. i also tested in my car against several woofers and it was down in dbs but this isnt really a true spl woofer more of a good daily woofer you COULD compete with.

you should buy from a dealer so you get a real warrenty too, call and find ur closest dealer...

this sub is a 100 million times better then any quantum audio sub out there. you can call cadence up direct and get it for 100 shipped, there closing them out as the new zrs sub replaced them a few years ago and they have some lingering around, you will get a full warranty that way.

ask for tony or roy and tell them you heard they have some 100 dollar wild beasts still in stock 12inch, dude on her has some 15s brand new for 130 a piece also, paper and kevlar cone, 150oz magnets, 95db eff, 3 inch coil, vented heat pump, and put this bad boy in a 2.0 cube box tuned to 35 and you will be set

um my distributor carries cadence too those subs are from 5-6yrs ago. the quantum also has 3" coil and is 1500rms not 1500 peak like the cadence. the motor is larger and better coil cooling too. dont forget the cadence has a single 2ohm coil...

its a motor pump you *******, and thats for 2 subs compared to the origional post the 750 rms, and if you knew anything just because you have 1500 peak means nothing, re se's have 2000 peak but an rms of 600 so are you telling me that quantum can take mor e power

its not a diaphram pump, there is a motor cooling device around the motor so dont speak before you know something,

single coils are generally more efficient thats why they use them, the advantage of dual coils is that there are more wiring options

SPL has some really good points and hands on experience.. which i like to hear about.

mclerico, thanks for posting the wild beast, but im not trin 2 run a 6yr old design.. and i would need 1 sub to wire at 1ohm.. then you gettin in a pissing match with snoopdan is not a good idea.. its snoopdan for fux sake

i couldnt blow the quantum spl 10 on a db drive plat 2000.1 i tried for days. i could get mech noise playing below tunning and would for mins on end. i would make the spider slam the cone for minsno wear. the 2000.1 puts out more that rated too...

just because its an old design dosent mean i wont get it, its still a much better sub then quantum i have used both also, put 2 quantums in a camry and 2 wild beasts in a grand prix and 4 wild beasts in my explorer, id take a hx2 any day and an origional solo baric. well g/l with the system

so if u have used th QUANTUM, whats some good points on them? i am not tryin 2 spend $200 really.. i guss imma chap *** but in all reality all she said was orange... and imma try to get 1 orange sub to best utilize her amp
