Quantum A\B mono amps

Shop I visited today was having a blowout sale on all their Quantum stuff to make room for new stock. I had never even heard of them but the mono amps definitely caught my eye...

Anyway they had these two amps displayed, for 250$ and 310$ new in box.

QCA2000D Class AB 1 x 1000 Watts 2Ω 1 x 2000 Watts 1Ω

QCA3000D Class AB 1 x 1500 Watts 2Ω 1 x 3000 Watts 1Ω

I'm sure they are probably really bad quality, but that is still a ****ing ton of watts for the price.

Any info on these amps other than they are made by DB drive?

If they were true A/B amps I wouldn't want to see the current draw for 3000 watts.

I've never played with them. From what I've "heard" of them, they are mid to low level equipment.

If they are truly class A/B, I'd definitely pass.

I have a QCA3000d on 2 10 massive cw10 in an atrend diamond box and did a 142.8 in the trunk of my intrepid this is an 07 tl.

They do draw a bit hard but the lights do not dim in my intrepid. I added a kinetic 600, 0 gauge wire, and did the 2 grounds of the big 3 with 4 gauge. For the money they are very impressive. With the testing I have done the 3000 put down about 1800 watts rms. I am now building my golf with a clam shell wiht 8 15 quantum cozmics sealed and 4 4000ds.

Also the Quantum demo van has 7 15s and breaks the 170 mark.
