Quadruple Subwoofer Enclosure

I have four MTX Thunder 5500-04's and i plan on putting them in a blazer. I recently built a box that has 3.5 cubic feet of space per side. This box is a slot port and is huge. What i want to do is put to more holes on the top of the box since its about 2 feet long and add to subs to the top. Do you think this will work or will it cancel each other out??..Would it be better just to have two different boxes??...The recomended airspace for the 5500"s is 1.5 so i have no idea if the space will still be to big or not...Thank you

whats size are they. also i dont think is a great idea to have your subs on the top and side of a box.

this would work however

invert the 2 subs on top and it would be ok.

i'd rather rebuild personally.

what do you mean invert the two subs???...just turn them upside down??...If i was to rebuild what would be a good box design??...Ohh the subs are 12's
