im running mpyre 65m mids with the passive xover that came with them... they were never sold with tweeters. anyway i was running cdt tw-25s but they went out once i started running 300 watts to each door //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

im looking at : http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=270-180 to replace them. the goldwood is a 8 ohm horn/tweet. so in doing this am i going to be sending 1/2 the power to my tweeters i was before, if so this is what i want!

If you use an 8 ohm tweet with a 4 ohm crossover, your crossover points will be wrong. How bad your crossover points are off will depend on the design of your passive crossover network.

**** see that the thing, no one seems to have any type of information about these crossovers.
