So I'm looking on RE's site.. it seems that the XXX has a 1200 wrms rating.. like the brahma. So I'm curious to know why it only has an 1800w max, when the Brahma implies it has a 4800w max. Wtf is going on here =|

max doesnt mean shit. Both Subs can take way over 2k watts fine. Alot of times tho u can take the max rating divide it by 2 and get ur RMS. But i guess in the XXX that wouldnt make any sense at all.

well the XXX is 1600 RMS and 2500max.

and the Brahma 1600W RMS, 4800W peak

XXX is 1600 RMS, it says right on the site. Click Tech, then Enclosures/TS, then TS parameters, then XXX. The HC is 1200.

well i wouldnt risk puttin over 1600 watts rms to each unless u got sum money layin around

I meant 1600wrms, don't know why I said that. Anyway, what I was getting at.. does this mean for burps or something? 2000 watts is a huge power difference, I'm a little confused.
