Q? on Ohio Generators

well today was the first day i actually had to play around with my system post installation and there is a definite improvement in voltage (stays at 14v+ even with heavy bass and at idle rpm speeds, if i throttle it up it goes up to 14.9). i measured these with a craftsman dmm at the battery under my hood. i can even tell a difference in loudness... i'm impressed...

just one issue though: when the alt starts cranking out some amperage, my airbag light comes on. first it starts blinking on and off, then stays on until i restart my engine. the light wont turn on unless the alternator is really charging heavily...

any ideas?

 
wen the engine is cold,, aka or alt is cold it will but out higher volts,, if your saying your getting 14.9 with a litte rev , wut are you getting cold. you might me over charging,,another way is check your batt see if its getting fatter
