Pyrmaid bought out RF? :confused:

Theres a guy at my school the other day really into audio and we got to talkin about all sorts of system setups and I brought up Rockford and he said "rockford sucks pyramid bought them out"......i didnt know wether to believe him or not because he seems to usually know what hes talkin about but it just sounded to hard to believe. He also claims that he hits 140.5 with 2 15 cvr's in seperate sealed boxes with a soundstream 500 watt amp and a very basic pioneer Hu in a Dodge neon so maybe hes just stupid idk.....ive seen alot of threads on this subject but ive never noticed anything about them being bought out so someone tell me whats up lol

1st, Pyramid doesn't own anything. Sound Around owns Pyramid among other companies (Lanzar, for example).

RF is (was) in trouble. That's why they unloaded MBQ to Maxxsonics and are dropping many of their non-core product divisions.
