Idling In While Bumping..

I know there are many of us that bump in parking lots, parties, friends house, etc. When bumping usually we just let our car running in park and bump right? When chilling around the car, we smell the strong sense of the cars fumes. So i was just wondering if there was some sort of safety mechanism where i can cover the exhaust or filter out the fumes. I havent seen or heard anything like it before but it would be a nice invention of some sort.

If there is a such thing out there, it would be nice if u can share, because i dont wanna get HIGH off my cars fumes.

I have such a wimpy system I can just run it off the battery without the car running... Just turn the car key to the ON position and everything has power, turn on your head and bump away. Just don't bump for too long lol. "Does anybody have any jumper cables?"

I know most ppl add a second battery for running system with the car off. That is the way we have our demo vehicles set up especially when dealing with inside events.

lol i had to read that a couple of times to make sure i read it correctly. i dont believe i've ever "chilled somewhere bumping," but if i was going to, and didnt want to smell the fumes, i'd check out a gas additive that summit racing sells, can make your exhaust smell like cherries, grape, like 20 different flavors. im sure its still not good for you though.

EDIT: I smell exhaust in my car lol. I have to put down the windows at long lights so I don't die. My flex pipe broke so it sounds like a super loud lawnmower and dumps exhaust directly into the cabin.

just hang one of thoes pine trees on your exhaust pipe.

At tailgating and bonfires I usually just don't turn mine up all the way... usually like 18-19 is fine(max out at 35 but highested i turn it is 25). Then I just start my car every hour or so and let it run for like 15min. Never once drained my batteries.

what ever you do don't cover your exhaust pipes.. your car has to breathe
