id recomend just killing yourself before you get one these
Ok i got to looking in the Garage, I found an old Rockford Fosgate Punch 15
I have to call my boys to see if its still good, it was in a Kicker Comp 15 Box
So i am sure that it was an uopgrade the Kids did.
I may just have them build me a box for that.
Don't listen to this guy. He's completely looney.Dude u can pick up like a 10" kicker cvr for 20 bucks or so just look around if ur on a budget, the kickers will knock and so will them pioneers someone else recommended to u earlier in the thread....that is if ur on a budget
Ya, surprising performance considering all the bling and the low price, but I would still recommend the Pioneers over the Volfenhags..
Hahahaha, wow. "Hitting hard" is more around 50 to 80 hz, the higher bass. At 20hz, few people can even hear it. You actually lose some of that punch getting the sub to play down to the 20hz range. In a car it's very hard to do.
No you can not find CVRs for $20 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gifDude u can pick up like a 10" kicker cvr for 20 bucks or so just look around if ur on a budget, the kickers will knock and so will them pioneers someone else recommended to u earlier in the thread....that is if ur on a budget
I haven't heard any of those but I own a pair of older eXcelon single voice coil 10s and for what they are they sound pretty freggin good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifSince being retired from my mobile setup they have been relegated to HT duty wired in series to 8 Ohms on my receiver's subwoofer channel. Thanks Stone
I have also been looking at the KFC-XW1002DVC
I may just buy these one at a time when i get the money saved up.
I will also need an Amp
by the way the pioneers go down to 18Hz, from what I remember anything at 20Hz or lower hit hard. I cant find the freq specks on the KFC,s not sure if they go that low
That would be the FS, or what frequency the subs moves the easiest in free air. It has almost nothing to do how hard a sub hits. There really is no one spec that can define how a sub plays, how hard it hits, or how low it plays. As far as any subwoofer is concerned, the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts. The refrence wasnt on running the subs at 20Hz or lower, just the specks of the subs themselves.
